Kathleen Patel Anti Bullying Quote

Except the cultured, sophisticated Germans fell, nearly en masse, for the Nazi Party. I’m recalling a book title: “Hitler’s Willing Executioners.” Recall Hannah Arendt’s experience at Nuremberg. Recall stories, perhaps apocryphal, of Nazi guards and officers at concentration camps going home to play with their children and listen to classical music. I’m being too hard on the quotation. Of course she’s right to a point — the question is, education in what? For what? Knowing, merely knowing, isn’t enough. I can know how to split an atom and provide clean power for an entire city — or detonate a device to kill millions.
