Here’s a Christmas greeting for you (photo)

The funny church sign I had to photograph

The slogan for this First United Pentecostal Church cracks me up.

Is that slogan an affirmation or a warning?

Certainly the “Hard To Forget” was well-intentioned.

But consider the possible meanings, as found on the “What We Believe” page of the United Pentecostal Church International website.

“Full salvation,” the website says, includes “the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.”

Furthermore, “The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today.”

Other tongues. Supernatural gifts. Any meeting could indeed be “Hard To Forget”!

The Pope was in a Lutheran church this past Sunday

Can’t believe I missed this. See the caption below, followed by another photo.
